We have vacationed at Villa Ausblick for the past 10 years, ever since our oldest child was a baby. The house is incredibly versatile, with rooms that accommodate all ages, from infant to grandparent. Every angle and every window offers views of the sweeping mountain ranges, wooded forests or the tranquil trout pond, complete with trickling waterfall. Our kids love the tree house, swing, pool and covered sand pit. They can spend hours searching for worms, newts, frogs and fish. And, if bad weather rolls in, the house has so many great spaces to hang out and play games, cook meals, relax and read or you can always head down the hill for a Ben & Jerry's factory tour. We cannot say enough great things about this vacation property, you simply have to experience it for yourself. Vermont at it's best!
No better place to have a large, multi generational gathering. Been here for summer, winter and spring. It's the best!
Near plenty of restaurants, shops, ski areas and places of interest (can you say Ben and Jerry's Factory or The Cider Mill?) you and your family can never be bored, unless, of course, you want to just read a good book by the pool.
Villa Ausblick is a luxury home rental in Waterbury, Vermont. Enough beds to sleep 12, this 4,000 square foot home features a swimming pool in the summer, an outdoor hot tub and indoor fireplace in the winter, a pond for kids to observe nature, an outdoor firepit, bikes, bbq, a large screen tv, free cable and internet, a nice yard and outstanding views from the sun porch, gazebo, most of the bedrooms, the livingroom and kitchen table. We can't say enough about how comfortable the place is or how awesome the owners are!
Such a lovely home, highly recommend. We had a wonderful weekend getaway with incredible views of the fall foliage right from the back deck. The kids couldn’t get enough of the tree house and loved exploring the pond for frogs and salamanders. Also enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The house is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you would need. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly, and easy to work with.
This property is accurately described in the listing: beautiful setting, gorgeous view, and well-organized. It is extremely well maintained with upmost regard to the convenience and comfort of renters and is located in an upscale and well-designed residential development. Everything in the house is well-organized and labeled in anticipation of needs; the entertainment area downstairs is well-equipped with plenty of diversionary games and a terrific foosball table; any cook would find all necessary implements in the compact kitchen; the playroom provides just enough toys for young children; and the living area looks out on a spectacular view, with a beautiful fireplace option during the winter months. The bedrooms are located upstairs; the king size bedroom is extremely spacious; the queen size bedroom and two other bedrooms somewhat limited in space, but none-the-less accommodating. The property is extremely clean; and the owner provided exceptional service, calling to inquire about our needs and making herself available for any questions (which never arose due to the information available on site). We welcomed our return to the house each day after some cross-country or downhill skiing. We would certainly recommend this property for rental. The view is to die for; and the house extremely cozy and comfortable with plenty of activities.
Do yourself a favor: if you want to stay with a large family or friends, rent this beautiful home.
