Really great staff and attention to detail. I drive down from Montreal to celebrate my wife's Bday here and in the one in burlington every year. The food and wine is above expectations.

Had a most delicious and magical night with family spending holiday time together at this wonderful restaurant. We are always amazed at the beautiful but also amazing flavors of anything we order here. Will be our go to place with all the wonderful staff and great service we always receive!
Still the hipster location for good food and beverage in Waterbury. Funky table arrangements in this rehab with a central pit table for lucky diners and outdoor seating in season. Open kitchen like downtown. Very friendly service, accommodating and cheerful. Parking can be found, can be a struggle on a rainy night.
Like most great restaurants, be prepared for sticker shock when the bill comes. But unlike many "great restaurants, you will feel that you've gotten your money's worth and then some.

Wonderful time at the Waterbury Hen of the Wood. So delicious. Food is on par or better than the Burlington location. I would recommend selecting several small plates or cheeses to share and an entree for each person. The pacing between each course is perfect and will leave you room for their delicious desserts. The ambiance in Waterbury is definitely more cozy than Burlington. Either location is a must visit everytime I am in VT visiting my in-laws. A dinner here or at the Burlington location will never disappoint!!!
In the back woods of Vermont lies an incredible culinary experience. From the starters of beautifully prepared bay scallops and the bacon wrapped eponymous mushroom, thru the main courses and sides, Donne had the pork loin which was done to perfection and I had fried rabbit a protein I've never had before. Very tasty. Our guests, beings vegans, had the Cauliflower main, which was really delish as well.
